Al-Ghad Teardrop Design

Al-Ghad
The Floating Teardrop design was inspired by the undulant, modular construction of the roofscape at Queen Alia International Airport. RedSpades team injected a hint of modernity and sleek elements into the traditional design, creating a sense of a breathable floating teardrop that resembles simplicity, easiness, and openness. We focused on keeping the spirit of the beautifully designed roofscape and conveying matching elements across the whole airport, with a touch of modern art, from the entrance to the boarding gates. We believe that every passenger who sets foot into QAIA will be captivated by the feelings of familiarity and comfort, leaving an impression as if they are at home. This concept was created and transformed into a 3D model for Airport billboards and the Flight Information Display System. The 3D model was used to visualize how the design would look in real life, helping the client to understand the impact and appeal of the design. The finished concept was well received by the client and played a crucial role in the success of the project.
